BY HIRIX

Where your team works, meets, and hosts.

Virtual Hirix is a private workspace — spaces and DMs at its core, a 2D office your team can walk around, and events the whole world can attend. One company, one address.

Free to start. Workspace chat, DMs and public events cost nothing, for any team size. Add a Virtual Office room when you want one — free for the first month, then from RM29 a month for the whole room, not per seat.

Field-study write-up is in. Short version: people stopped scheduling check-ins once they could see who's at their desk.

WORKSPACE CHAT

Start in the workspace

Spaces for every stream of work, DMs, and huddles — inside a workspace that's private to your verified domain. Membership is approved, never assumed: no drive-by joins, no anonymous guests.

  • Spaces and direct messagesOrganized by stream, not by inbox.
  • Huddles in any channelVoice-first, one click, no meeting link.
  • Meeting rooms with email invitesOutsiders join with a link — and get nothing else.

Interview synthesis is up. The pattern holds across all nine teams: presence beats status updates.

The Virtual Office in Virtual Hirix: a top-down pixel-art office with a meeting room, six workstations, a lounge and a break area. Six teammates stand at desks; two of them, Rina and Amir, are in a proximity video call.
VIRTUAL OFFICE The Open Office room, as the product draws it. Six teammates, two in a call.

VIRTUAL OFFICE

Walk over, don't schedule

Your office, drawn as a place. Walk your avatar over to a teammate and a video call opens at conversation distance — walk away and it closes. Meeting zones for the whole room, a lounge for the accidental chats you actually miss.

  • Proximity videoDistance is the call button.
  • Meeting zones and screen shareStep into the zone, you're in the meeting.
  • Presence you can seeWho's at their desk — without a status ritual.

EVENTS

Put your company on stage

Host on a stage with a seat map, not a video grid. Attendees claim a seat from a public page — no account, no download. Raise-hand queue, invite-to-stage without a reconnect, free to attend. Seats are hard-capped: sold out means sold out.

Your event page is public. Your workspace stays private.

CHAT
Nadia Farouk 2:12 PMThe seat-map idea is clever — feels like a room, not a webinar.
Tomas Ceka 2:14 PMQuestion for the Q&A: is the office API on this roadmap?
Omar Baig 2:15 PMRaised my hand — happy to share how we run standups in the office.

COMPANY NETWORK

Connect companies, not calendars

Link your workspace with another company's. A connection grants exactly three things — and nothing else crosses the boundary.

Shared spaces Direct messages Co-hosted events Member lists Office access Everything else

Verified membership

Accounts are verified by email; workspaces are scoped to your domain.

Approved joins

Admins approve every membership. No drive-by joins, no anonymous guests.

Private means private

A workspace never resolves for a non-member — not even its name.

Calls stay between you

1-1 proximity calls are peer-to-peer and never recorded.

SWITCHING?

One product instead of three subscriptions

Team chat, an office your team can walk around, and public events — at one address, on one bill. If you are weighing it against what you use today:

Gather alternative → Kumospace alternative → Slack alternative → Discord alternative for companies → Luma alternative for events → Best virtual office software → Pricing →

Open your workspace.

Free to start — chat, DMs and events cost nothing. Your company at one address in about two minutes.
